Boned Jacket Reproduction

This is a women’s jacket I recreated for class in spring of 2026. I used a medium weight suiting wool, horsehair canvas interfacing, and a silk lining along with spiral steel boning.

I really enjoyed working with wool, getting to shape it with steam and padstitching. It was a learning curve and I’m no master of tailoring but this is a project I’m very proud of.
